PINEWOOD DERBY RESULTS
After some technicial difficulties, we were finally able to run the races. The following are the combined results for Scouts, the Siblings, and the Outlaws. I have removed the last names since these are posted on the internet. Please let me know if you'd like the data with complete information. Please note, the Siblings and Outlaw divisions ran one less heat than the scouts, which means that their times are not directly comparable unless you take an average. As for the scouts, the top seven racers were all within 5 one-hundredth's of a second away from each other. Remember that these times are the total of all four heats run by the scouts, so that means that on average, these racers were within one one-hundredth of a second. That's about the same amount of time for a bee to flap its winds two times. Click the "read more" to view the results:

Scouts, wear your Class A's, parents, wear your Sunday best as we honor our Pack leaders, send off our Webelos and celebrate scouting. Please sign up (RSVP) for this event. Sign up will be available at PWD weigh-in on Friday, January 27, 2012 and at PWD on Saturday, January 28, 2012. You can also reserve your seat by email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , subject line "Blue and Gold RSVP". Scout Fair Tickets If you did not pick up your tickets this evening, you can still get them Friday, January, 27th at the weigh-in or at Saturday's derby. Selling officially begins February 1, 2012. Booklets are $10.00. For more tickets, please contact Julie Harth. Camping at Huntsville Our Spring Camping trip will be February 17th-19th. Sign up will be available again at PWD weigh-in and PWD. We ask that all that are interested in camping please sign up so we will have ample space for all scouts and their families. **Special Note on Huntsville. We called Huntsville state park on Jan. 27 for an update on facility repairs that are going on due to bad weather they experienced earlier this week. Where Pack 353 will be staying, it is currently under construction. However, they are confident that everything will be ready for us before we get there. IF NOT, there will be other facilities near by where we can access showers and restrooms.
